The previous editions of styles from the Korg PA80 arranger got rave reviews and many requests for more. So you asked for it -- and here is the next installment. Ever since I released disks #4 and #5 for Band-in-a-Box, (styles inspired by the Korg i3 keyboard), people have been asking me to write more styles inspired by those great auto-arrangement keyboards. By far the keyboard requested most often has been the Korg PA80. This disk is not a direct copy of the styles on the PA80. That would be impossible as there are some significant differences between Band-in-a-Box and the Korg. The Korg has up to 7 instruments per style and a different set of percussion instruments. On the other hand, because they "think" about music differently, Band-in-a-Box has many ways to improve the musicality of the styles: (1) My BiaB rhythm patterns are less repetitive than those of the Korg (2) The Korg has only two drum rolls per style, I usually use 5 or more (3) My BiaB styles provides more authentic guitar chord inversions than the Korg (4) BiaB supports many more chord variations (5) Since the cords are entered before the song plays, BiaB knows what chord is coming next and can choose an appropriately musical pattern for that chord. I think the results more than compensate for the differences between the Korg and BiaB. Buy this disk and get a FREE intro/ending disk. Fantastic MIDI file intros and endings. You can use them in "Real Band" or export your BiaB file as a MIDI file, import it into a sequencer, and add these fantastic intros and endings. Whether you use it on BiaB files or your own MIDI sequences or not, you get the Intro/Ending disk FREE. ** PLUS, the new styles come in Mix&Match Mega-Style pairs. Sometimes the variations are subtle, sometimes pronounced, and always at least 4 different sub-styles are compatible, so you can have an A, B, C and D section in any song you like! This was a Norton Music innovation many years before PG Music incorporated it into Band-in-a-Box.
